Parks
Grand Rapids has many well known parks. There is Veterans Memorial Park, Roosevelt Park and Huff Park among many others. The earliest parks were Crescent Park, Fulton Street Park, and monument park. There have been numerous monuments, statues, busts, and sculptures in our parks and some of them can be seen in these photographs.
Police Records
In the 1870s the Police Department was organized in downtown Grand Rapids. After the turn of the century fingerprints began to be used by the department and a large amount of them are represented in the Police Departments collection of records. Some other records included are photographs, reports, and historical documents.
Streets
The Streets exhibit collects various materials from the other collections and departments. If you are looking for information on a street or a piece of property, find the street name to the right. If you do not see a street that you are looking for, reach out to us using the contact us page.
