This image shows the area formerly known as Grab Corners in the downtown Grand Rapids near the intersection of Pearl and Canal (Monroe). This area is now known as Campau Square. The view is to the northwest.

This is a stereograph of Campau Square and the Centennial Arch for the July 4th, 1876 celebration. The image is from O.W. Horton, Photographer.

This is an easterly view of Monroe Street (now Monroe Center) from Campau Square. Street cars and horse-drawn vehicles are seen with buildings and people. This was originally used in an 1890's City of Grand Rapids Annual Report.
