The photograph depicts a snow removal crew of scrip laborers, filling truck beds with snow.
The photo was taken on the north side of the street in front of the Pettersch Block, looking southeast toward Seward Avenue NW.
The large brick building at the rail crossing was still there in 2022 at 528 Bridge, as are most of the buildings (600-610 Bridge NW) to the right, except for the right-most building where Edwards Furniture was located.
The date is derived from the license plate on one truck.
