Scrip Labor Workers Shoring up the Riverbank

This is an image of scrip labor workings shoring up the bank of the Grand River using stones from the riverbed. The workers are preparing for the construction of the Civic Auditorium. They are working near the Interurban Bridge (Gillett Bridge) and the Bissell Carpet Sweepers factory is on the right.
